  • Prof Taylor giving a presentation at the Symposium and Cyber-Physical testbed tours and demonstrations

    2018 Annual Symposium

    SinBerBEST2 held its Inaugural Annual Symposium entitled: Sustainable Buildings as Cyber-Physical-Social Systems on the 6th July 2018 at CREATE, Singapore. Researchers from SinBerBEST2 presented their state-of-the-art research work over the past year. They also heard from local and international experts on topics related to energy and the built environment. A total of 100 participants attended the symposium. Finally, tours and demonstrations were offered in the Cyber-Physical testbed that was designed to facilitate research on sustainable tropical buildings.

  • Structure Safety Paper: Maintainable and Flexible Building Design

    The Structural Safety Journal will be publishing research findings from UC Berkeley, Berkeley Education Alliance for Research in Singapore, Chungbuk National University, and Universitat Internacional de Catalunya on using performance-based engineering and multi-criteria decision analysis for designing sustainable and resilient buildings. Please click on the link to download the full article.

    Applied Energy, a peer-reviewed, academic journal that focuses on energy engineering research, has a special issue on "Energy-cyber-physical Systems" that will be published in the February 2019 edition.
