Distributed sensing and cooperative control

In this work package, we set up the motes and network for human activities and IEQ monitoring. Sensor and actuator placement was studied. We provided cooperative distributed localized cooling control based on our data. We have obtained a general dynamic model of the air pressure and temperature in the building. A cooperative temperature and pressure controller was designed, which can coordinate the dampers to reduce the fluctuation of the air supply which reduces the energy consumption of the air supply fan.
